Friday morning shooting in Edgefield left three people injured, including Moee Lashawnn, a local woman originally from Aiken who now lives in Edgefield. The other victim of the Edgefield SC shooting is identified as Bluu Morton.
The incident happened around 11 a.m. on Hickory Street, just across from a church. Witnesses described hearing about 15 shots fired in rapid succession. One person at the scene said, “It sounded like someone emptied their clip.”
According to the Edgefield County Sheriff’s Office, one of the victims was airlifted to a hospital in Augusta for treatment. The conditions of the other two victims, including Moee, have not been officially released. Authorities confirmed that two people have been taken into custody in connection with the shooting, which was reportedly livestreamed.
